Meet Nyssa, a delightful 1-year-old short-coated Jack Russell Terrier-Whippet mix. Nyssa is not just any dog,
she's
a unique combination of gentleness and strength, feistiness and self-assurance, all wrapped up in an irresistible personality. At this pivotal age, Nyssa is at a point where she can grow and flourish with the right family by her side. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact on her life!
Although Nyssa can be shy when meeting new people, she quickly warms up and builds trust with gentle encouragement. An active family will be her ideal match, as they can help her channel her energy into exciting adventures and training. Jack Russells are brilliant and thrive with proper guidance, and the whippet has a gentle, calm soul, making Nyssa a perfect partner for anyone eager to engage in training and outdoor escapades. Nyssa has an incredible build: muscular, lean, and stunning. Are you ready for the challenge?
Remember that this breed has a strong prey drive, so
it’s
essential for her future home to be free of small animals or cats. To ensure a smooth integration, we are looking for families with children over 10 years old who have experience with dogs.
Nyssa's
stunning short coat features beautiful brown spots against a pristine white background. Her long back and medium-short legs create an endearing silhouette. Her sturdy, muscular build suggests her potential as an exceptional companion for hiking or agility courses. Just imagine the fun and excitement that awaits you with Nyssa by your side!
Currently, Nyssa is fed a human-grade dog food diet, and Rompin Paws offers educational resources on the best nutrition for our rescued dogs. By adopting Nyssa,
you're
not just getting a new family member; you're
also committing to her health and well-being.
Don’t
miss your opportunity to welcome Nyssa into your family—she is ready to embark on countless adventures with you!
**Adopting Nyssa**
To apply for the adoption of Nyssa, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns you may have, and determine if you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may cause disruptions in the process. Nyssa has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.
The adoption fee for Nyssa is $550
. All funds will be utilized to cover her medical care and to rescue more dogs in need.
