Olivia is 2-1/2yo, weighs 50lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped. She knows the following commands: sit, stay, wait, fetch/return the ball. Olivia's guardian adds: "She has full access to the house. We go on 5+ walks, dog park trips, etc. every day. She sleeps at night in a crate. She does great in the car. She dislikes being alone."
Olivia's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:
"Olivia is a very social, active girl who needs 24/7 access to a yard and a home with other dogs. When I adopted her we (myself and the animal shelter) thought she was a quiet girl who was introverted and didn't need much exercise. As she has gotten more comfortable and confident it is clear she has A LOT of energy and needs to be around other dogs and activity 24/7. I have been sending her to daycare 2-3x a week but that is not sufficient and I cannot afford to send her any other days. I have been in contact with her vet as well as local trainers to no avail."
Olivia's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "She occasionally struggles with incontinence and is currently on Proin."
Olivia's guardian states the following regarding children: Although Olivia hasn't lived with children, her guardian recommends her living with children, stating "I have babysat my nephews (infant, toddler) and she has done great".
Olivia's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Although Olivia doesn't live with dogs, her guardian recommends her living with dogs, stating "Olivia LOVES being with dogs. She's happiest when she sees other dogs/can play with them. She has never bitten or lunged or been aggressive to other dogs when we are out on walks or at the dog park".
Olivia's guardian states the following regarding cats: Since Olivia doesn't live with nor has otherwise been around cats, her guardian doesn't recommend her living with cats.
Olivia's guardian describes her as:
Very active
Playful
Friendly
Likes to be touched
Affectionate
