Meet Parker!
Parker is a sweet, sensitive 1-year-old pup weighing around 50 pounds. He’s neutered, crate trained, potty trained, and up to date on all his vaccines—ready to settle into his forever home!
Parker is very shy and feels most comfortable around women. Men and small children frighten him, so he’s looking for a calm, female-led home where he can bond closely and feel safe. Once he trusts you, he becomes a loyal, Velcro companion who’ll stick by your side through everything.
He’s currently working on building confidence and learning how to be more independent. A friendly, confident dog in the home is a must—he finds comfort and guidance in canine companionship. A securely fenced yard is also essential, especially since he loves to run and play! His owner tells us he is also good with cats.
Because Parker is still easily startled, he isn’t a good fit for homes with small children. He thrives on stability, routine, and a peaceful environment where he can continue to grow.
Important to note: Parker sometimes tries to eat things he shouldn’t, so he’ll need a watchful eye and a home that’s mindful of what’s within his reach.
If you have a quiet, loving home and a little extra patience, Parker could be your perfect match.
