Meet Pepé Le Pew 

, a handsome 7-month-old pup looking for love and a family to call his own.


This little guy's got a stinky past - he was skunked before arriving at the shelter! (Which is how he got his name) But we've cleaned him up, and he's starting to smell much better. He does have some Intestinal parasites he Is being treated for currently. This parasites can be transferred to other animals and to people through ingestion (eating) the infected feces. We recommend picking up the feces right away, throwing it away and washing your hands well until a negative fecal test is performed.


Pepé loves people! We think he might be some type of a herding breed, and he's definitely got a lot of bark!

and a house with a yard since he's too energetic for apartments and well the barking. 



Dog-friendly families are welcome, but a meet-and-greet is required.


An approved adoption application is required. The $425 adoption fee (payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; vaccinations; fecal w/ giardia testing, monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention . Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
