Perraboo (A136377) is a 9-month-old Lab mix who weighed 39.7 pounds on intake! 05/08/25 Perraboo aka Boo is back at the shelter and looking for her new home! She was left in the overnight drop off cages so we unfortunately do not have any behavioral information on how she was in her last home. Perraboo is a high energy dog and is looking for an owner who can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. She would also benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue working on her manners. We do not think that Perraboo is housebroken so she is looking for a patient owner who can continue to work with her. She arrived at the shelter with some skin irritations and was seen by our shelter vet. She was given the all clear, but potential owners should be prepared to follow up with their own vet for a recheck in about two weeks (around 5/19). Perraboo arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now eagerly awaiting to find her new family to love! She is one smart pup and has already learned the command sit! She is looking for an owner who will have the time and energy to commit to her upbringing. She will need continued help with potty training, basic commands, positive socialization, and so much more. Puppies are a lot of work and a large responsibility but 100% worth it! Perraboo is in her teething stage so providing her with appropriate chews is important!
