Meet Pierce, our newest resident at the Mikey and Me kennels for Happy Days Rescue.
Pierce is a Shepherd mix, he’s approx. 3 years of age, and he weighs about 60 pounds.
Pierce is extremely handsome with striking blue eyes (perhaps where his name originates from?). Pierce is gentle and sweet, he seems to enjoy having the companionship of people and he’s reportedly good with other nice dogs.
Pierce had his annual vaccinations on 8/26/24 after being found as a stray; he then received booster shots on 9/27/24. Neighbors apparently reported his name to be “Max” but had no information about his owners. Pierce had been in the shelter for 5 months and was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding, a problem that’s only getting worse.
If you would like to meet this handsome, gentle, and sweet dog, please submit an adoption application under his name at
happydaysdogandcatrescue.org
. Doing this won’t obligate you in any way but it will allow you to meet or potentially adopt one of our dogs.
If you can, please share Pierce’s journey with your family and friends to help us find him a safe and happy home.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.
Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
