Pinky is a 3.5yr old meatball (50#) with a lot of love to give, she is a low maintenance lady.
She is utterly devoted to her ball—her most treasured possession—and while she’ll proudly show it off, sharing is bot usually an option. We’ve worked diligently on drop it, but her response is usually a side eye and who do you think you’re talking to attitude. She’s stubborn but not aggressive about it, just very,
very
sure that it belongs to her.
When she’s not keeping tabs on her ball, she’s zooming around with uncontainable joy, her energy bursting out in wild sprints. But when it comes to walks, she prefers the short and sweet variety—just enough to explore before heading back to her safe space she is a meatball after all. She would do best with a fenced yard or an adopter willing to take her to a fenced space where she can do her zoomies and fetch her ball.
She loves
intensely
—the kind of love that ignores all concepts of personal space. If you sit, she’s
right there
. If you lie down, she’s
on
you. She’s your shadow, your cuddler, your slightly-too-close best friend.
But the world can be a little overwhelming for her. Loud noises?
No, thank you
. Unexpected sounds make her anxious, and she needs reassurance that everything is okay. She’s sensitive, a little nervous at times, but never aggressive.
She’s a gentle soul who thrives in a calm, quiet environment. Loud noises—thunder, fireworks, even a sudden clang—make her nervous, sending her searching for a safe spot where she can feel secure. She’s not aggressive, just sensitive, needing extra reassurance when the world gets too noisy.
In a peaceful setting, she’s affectionate and loving. She does best in a home where things move at a relaxed pace, where she can fully relax without the stress of unexpected sounds. She loves kids but cannot handle the unexpected noises and moves they make. Applicants with children will not be considered.
With patience and understanding, she blossoms into the sweetest, most loyal companion—one who just needs a little extra quiet and care to feel truly at ease.
