He’s Popeye the sailor man!  However he and his sister, Olive, haven’t had the chance to do much sailing yet.  But they have both proven themselves to be strong and courageous since they were found running through the streets together and scavenging for survival.   They were found by a good samaritan who called the local animal control, but since there’s not a shelter, they discovered that they would have been euthanized immediately.  We couldn’t let that happen, so we took them in.





Popeye loves to play with and carry around toys, and he will bring them to you in an effort to get you to play with him.  He also loves to be outside - either playing or soaking up the sun.  Popeye has been to the vet for his initial vetting and vaccinations, and the vet believes he is just 5 months old.  He weighs 22 pounds.  Popeye is also crate trained.





Popeye is currently with a foster in NJ, and once you are approved to adopt, is available for a meet and greet.
