Hi, I’m Riley, a 3 year old female Pyrenees weighing about 75 pounds. Have you ever heard of a gentle giant? Well, that’s me! I am a very sweet girl that
loves to cuddle, be around my people, and relax. I’ll gently nudge your hand when I want pets. I love meeting new people, especially kids, and I’d be the happiest pup alive if my new family had a kiddo. I’ve met dogs of all sizes (20-70 pounds) and do great with them all. I’m not super active but I’ll occasionally wrestle or play tug-of-war. On rare occasions, I’ll get a burst of energy and start chasing my tail. It always makes my foster parents laugh! I haven’t met any cats or critters in rescue but I’m willing to try! I did live on a farm so it’s possible I’ve been exposed to all sorts of animals in the past. I am completely potty trained! I’m not a fan of the kennel but I’m doing better every day. Once I’m settled in my new home, I could be left out of the kennel during the day. My leash skills could use some work - I’m just a very strong girl so I will pull. True to my breed, I take my guard dog duties very seriously and I’ll let out some big barks when I hear noises outside. My foster mom thinks I’m a valuable member of the neighborhood watch! I finished heartworm treatment in May so I’ll need to be low activity until October. Honestly, that’s just fine with me because I’d rather be snoozing. I’m the best dog that would do well in most households. You’ll love me!
