5/7/2025Rocco VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Rocco! I am a handsome 1.5 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to my family being unable to give me the attention I deserve/need. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, playful, affectionate, quiet, nervous, and obedient! I have lived with my current family for 7 months and have done well with their small resident shih-poo dogs! I also live with two kids (ages 11 and 12 years old) and love them! There is a 2 year old that visits often and I get along with him as well! I do not live with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I love humans and get excited sometimes and will jump but I mean no harm! I am learning house training, am crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in my crate with a bedtime of 9:45-10:30pm. When walking on a leash I do not bark at people but will get excited when I see another dog and will pull on the leash a bit. If I need to be let outside to go to the bathroom, I alert the humans by ringing the bells on the door. If the humans put me outside and don't come with me, I am sad and want to come back inside immediately. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences or gates. I am fearful when humans raise their voice and I do not like fruit. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, fetching, playing with soccer balls, squeaky toys, attention, treats, and walks!
