Roxie is a joyful young pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that will instantly brighten your day. This under-one-year-old Border Collie mix weighs in at just 25 pounds but brings a big personality wherever she goes. Roxie is the perfect blend of energetic and cuddly—she loves a good romp in the backyard with her dog friends just as much as she adores snuggling up with her favorite humans. Whether she’s tossing her toys in the air, zooming around the yard, or curling up next to you after a day of fun, Roxie always finds a way to bring joy to the moment. One of the most charming things about Roxie is her love for toys—she’ll dig through her toy box to find the perfect one and then switch back and forth between her favorites with hilarious enthusiasm. She’s a smart girl who bonds quickly, knows how to sit for treats, and is almost fully housetrained. Roxie has also done well living with other dogs, a cat, and has even been around chickens. She’s incredibly social and thrives in the company of others, both human and furry. While she’s not a fan of her crate just yet, Roxie sleeps peacefully through the night in bed with her humans and is steadily improving with crate time during the day. She’s still learning the leash but enjoys car rides and is becoming more relaxed each time she goes out. Roxie would thrive in an active, interactive home—ideally with another dog or two to keep her company and a family who won’t leave her alone for long stretches. She’ll come to her new home with her favorite toys and her beloved slow-feeder, which she loves to push around during mealtime.
