Meet Roxie – the sweetest girl searching for her forever home.
At just two years old, Roxie has already lost her home twice, and she deserves so much better. She’s spayed, kennel-trained, and one of the most eager-to-learn pups we have ever met. She’s got no food or resource guarding that we can find, and she picks up commands like she was made for it. Sit? Perfect. Lay down? She’s working on it with so much heart. Her recall is incredible, and she’s wonderful with kids.
Roxie bonds deeply with the person who cares for her—she’s the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your adventure partner, your best friend. She’s happiest outside, sniffing flowers and exploring the world. If you love hiking, camping, or long walks, she’ll be right there with you, tail wagging. She’s high-energy, but mostly because she’s still young. She just needs the right buddy—someone who will play with her, run with her, and love her like she deserves.
She’s already lost so much. I don’t want her to lose again. Let’s make sure this time, it’s forever.
Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.
All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!
Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you!
