Hi, my name is Ruby and to be very honest I’m a beautiful but very shy girl. When you first meet me I appear to be untrusting but with patience and love I can overcome it. Who doesn’t want to have a home where they can feel safe and loved??
I was transferred to Pyrescue in Peyton from the Humane Society in Kansas where I arrived pregnant and gave birth to 7 beautiful babies who were all adopted. PYRescue found out fast that I don’t like to be locked up, they leave the kennel door open for me so I can go in/out whenever I want to. I like to spend most of the time outside with my doggy friend, he makes me feel more secure and confident. The rescue believes that I would do best in a home with acreage because I love to be outside but I will need very secure fencing since I am also an escape artist. Having a doggy door so I can come inside when I am ready would be great as well as another doggy buddy to build up my confidence.
Unfortunately I do not like cats! No small children either because they will scare me. I was never aggressive but definitely fearful around new people, especially men. I know I am asking for a lot but remember I had a very hard life. I am really trying hard to trust people again but need some time, patience & treats - I love treats. When I begin to trust I can be very, very sweet and will gently paw you for more affection and, of course, treats.
Will you be the family to give a special girl like me a forever home? Maybe we can have a few “meet & greet” sessions so we can get to know each other and feel more comfortable, also to facilitate the transition to my new home.
Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
