Meet Rue—a gorgeous, 6-month-old Pointer with striking white and tan spots and a heart full of potential! She currently weighs around 30 pounds, is in great health, and is up-to-date on all her vaccines. She’ll be scheduled for her spay soon, which is included in her adoption fee.

 

True to her breed, Rue is full of energy and always ready for action! We’re incredibly grateful that one of our staff members is fostering her right now, which has given us a great glimpse into her personality. She’s wonderful with other dogs, doing great with cats and goats, and is learning boundaries quickly in her foster home.

 

Rue is still very much a pup and will need some training, but that’s part of what makes the Pointer breed so rewarding—they’re highly intelligent, and we can already tell that with the right guidance, Rue is going to blossom into an incredible companion. She’s eager to learn and just needs someone ready to help her harness all that energy and brainpower.
