September is a 60 lb pit bull mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. Don’t let his size fool you—he’s 100% convinced he’s a lap dog and loves nothing more than snuggling up close. This affectionate guy lives for kisses, hugs, and quality time with his people. His second love? Squeaky chew toys!

Currently living in a boarding facility, September is patiently waiting for a place to call home. While he enjoys playtime and attention from the staff, what he truly needs is a loving family to give him the comfort and stability he deserves.

September is friendly and affectionate with people and would make a great family dog. Due to his high energy, he’s best suited to a home without cats or small dogs. He would thrive with an owner who can help guide and redirect his enthusiasm with patience and positive reinforcement.

He was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart, but don’t worry—there are no activity restrictions at this time. He can still do everything a happy, playful dog loves to do!

This sweet boy has been through a lot, but his spirit remains strong and his tail keeps wagging. All he needs now is someone willing to open their heart and home to him.
