This puppy, as well as several other dogs and puppies, are currently in our program through a special collaboration with Siskiyou County Animal Control. Due to severe overcrowding and limited resources in the region, many shelters are faced with incredibly difficult decisions. Together, we’re working to give these dogs a better chance by finding them loving homes or transferring them to partner rescues. They’re available for adoption just like our Rescue Ranch pups — but because of the urgency of the situation, they may be transferred quickly. If you're interested, we highly encourage you to act fast — they deserve a loving home, and it could be yours!
When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.
Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination.
All pu
ppies are also microchipped and registered with

We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)
by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),
and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
