Shivey is a love at 16 pounds, pure breeed female Schnauzer. She likes other dogs, is potty trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and a true love. To adopt this angel, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. The adoption fee is $400.
From where she is staying:
This little girl is a full blown sweetheart who has never met a stranger. She absolutely loves people and will smash her face to the floor and keep her butt high in the air for pets. She loves playing with other dogs at the dog park and enjoys rough housing with her dog siblings at home. She is good with cats and tries to play with ours (to no avail). She loves to play games. Her favorite is hide and seek; we hide, she sniffs us out. Shivy is super smart and makes us laugh often. She enjoys a good chill session, too, especially if it’s on your lap, but it’s clear from our time with her that she really needs something to do way more often than we can give her. She would excel at an agility course and/or having multiple jobs to do! She would be an excellent farm dog! Anyone interested should keep in mind that she is a mini schnauzer and her bark is LOUD. It can be scary to younger kids and is not for anyone who likes/needs a quiet home as she will bark when she hears something interesting -which is practically everything- and when she’s happy. (I wouldn’t call it excessive at all, though. It’s just very loud and jarring.) Otherwise, she would do well in any home that can stimulate her mind and meet her physical needs.
