Let’s be honest: with a name like Snacks, you already know she’s got flavor! Snacks is described as "perfection" by her foster family. She's a 42-pound, five-year-old mixed-breed cutie with enough charm and silliness to keep you smiling every single day. Looking for the perfect blend of fun and chill? Someone as happy sprinting across the yard as she is flopping dramatically onto the couch? She’s got that perfect middle ground of energy – ready to run, romp, and play, but also totally down to binge-watch Netflix documentaries with you. Being outside is absolutely her favorite thing; she would be the perfect hiking or camping companion. She’s has been progressing really well with recall when outside, too.
Snacks is great with people, loves other dogs, and is a natural with kiddos. She’s affectionate, goofy, and super eager to please – the kind of dog who listens with those big, expressive eyes and makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the world. She's leash-trained and crate-trained (and doesn't mind it one bit!). She prefers to be in the crate while you're away so that chewing on things out of boredom does not get the best of her. She loves toys, being outside, and her house manners are chef’s kiss. She will even sit and wait like a little lady without being asked. (Okay, Snacks, we see you!). Now, every queen has her quirks — and although Snacks is usually pretty quiet, she can be a bit of a chatty Cathy when there’s something really important happening (like a squirrel or a deer in the backyard), so apartment life might not be her jam. She can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new folks, but give her a minute or two and she’ll be leaning into you for belly rubs like you’ve been best friends forever.
Spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines, Snacks is so ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is $415. She’s the ideal size, the ideal temperament, and frankly? Just a top-tier dog. So apply to adopt SNACKS GCH at EHRDOGS.ORG – but fair warning: she’s irresistible.
