Sox is a sweet and loving 12-year-old Black Lab/Border Collie mix looking for a forever home to spend her golden years. Don’t let her age fool you—this girl still has plenty of love and tail wags to give!
Personality: Sox is affectionate, gentle, and absolutely adores people. She’s happiest when she’s by your side, soaking up attention and giving plenty of love in return.
Good with Others: Sox gets along great with other dogs. She would be happy being an only-dog or having a furry sibling to keep her company. She also gets along well with kids, though she isn’t the most gentle when accepting treats from your hand. Because of this, we recommend any children in her new home be older.
House Trained: No worries about accidents—Sox is house trained and well-mannered indoors.
Loves Food: Like any good Lab mix, Sox is highly food-motivated, which makes her easy to train and a joy to spoil!
Active & Enjoys Walks: Despite being a senior, Sox still enjoys her daily walks and outdoor adventures. She may take things at a slower pace, but she loves sniffing around and exploring the world.
Healthy senior: Sox has some harmless fatty lumps, common for senior dogs, but they don’t slow her down or affect her happy-go-lucky personality. She is not currently on any medications.
Sox is looking for a loving home where she can cuddle up, enjoy belly rubs, and share her golden years with a special family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Sox might be the perfect match for you!
