Squiggy is a fun-loving, energetic, and affectionate 3-year-old male dog who is ready to find his forever home! He was originally brought in as a stray to DAS, where he spent a few weeks before joining our home. During his time at the shelter, he was kenneled with another dog and received great playgroup notes, proving his friendly and social nature. Squiggy is great with other dogs and kids and thrives in an active environment where he can stay engaged and entertained. Heâs leash-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained, making him a well-mannered companion. While he may pull slightly on the leash to say hello to other pups, he remains non-reactive and eager to explore. With a high energy level, Squiggy loves going on walks, following his people around like a loyal shadow, and zooming around both the backyard and the living room! He enjoys chew sticks and takes pride in unstuffing plush toys, though he prefers toys without squeakers or crinkles. As he prepares to undergo heartworm treatment in three weeks, we are keeping him separated from our resident dog to ensure a calm recovery. After treatment, heâll be ready to fully embrace playtime and adventures with his new family. Squiggyâs ideal home would be with an active person or family who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and patience as he continues to refine his manners. He does well in his crate (especially if he gets a treat!) and is always up for the next adventure. Best described as silly, energetic, and sweet, Squiggy will keep you on your toes and fill your days with love and laughter. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
