Meet Taffy! This regal beagle mix is sweeter than a bowl of candy. She is one half of a non-bonded pair with Tally Saltwater. (We think they might be Mom and daughter!)
Although adult dogs like Taffy are often overlooked, they actually turn out to be the most obedient, mild-mannered and loving companions. She is very cautious with new people and new things. She is fearful in new situations and is more of an introvert than extrovert. She would do best in a very quiet home without multiple visitors and low social expectations. She is not a candidate for a home with children.
This fun-sized cutie is looking for the forever home she deserves. She’s not asking for much—a loving family and a comfy place to rest would sweeten the deal. Will you open your heart and home to Taffy?
Tally and Taffy’s backstory: These two were found on an elderly gentleman’s front porch. He fed them and they stuck around because they were so hungry. He did his best to care for them by keeping them sheltered and fed in his chicken coop until animal rescuers could arrive to help.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
