Hi there! When I first arrived here, they called me Timothy — and they've tried thinking of other names too, but nothing has felt quite right yet. Maybe that's because I’m still waiting for my forever family to find me, the ones who’ll help me discover who I really am.
I'm a sensitive soul; quick movements and loud noises can make me a little nervous. But even though I'm a little shy at first, I've been warming up fast to the people here. I’m still a bit unsure around the small human (they call him a 5-year-old), but I’m trying my best!
I get along really well with the two cats and the other dog here — we even play together in the yard! I love running around and chasing toys or just having fun with a buddy.
I’m still working on my potty training — I’ve only had a few little accidents since I got here, and I’m learning more every day. I’m also learning that getting petted and having my belly rubbed is actually pretty wonderful... it just takes me a little time and patience to trust. But once I do, I promise I'm as sweet and gentle as can be.
I can't wait to find a family who’ll love me for who I am and help me keep growing. Could that be you?
Timothy is from a local reservation. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

*Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
