Trixie is a 5-year-old mixed breed who weighs about 66 pounds and has quickly become a favorite among our staff and volunteers. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and easygoing—one of those dogs who just makes you smile. Trixie loves belly rubs and quality time with her people, and she’s been friendly with everyone she’s met. Whether she's exploring the yard or lounging nearby, she’s happiest when she’s part of the action.

This smart girl already knows sit, shake, and down, and she keeps a very clean kennel. She enjoys spending time outside and taking in all the sights and smells, but she’s just as content relaxing by your side. Trixie is truly a wonderful dog with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She’s ready to find her forever family and will make an amazing companion for someone lucky enough to call her their own.

Her adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
