Tye is a stunning young male currently located in Pennsylvania.
He is a large boy at 80lbs, is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped.
He is very food motivated and loves to work. He is a quick study while learning basic obedience and impulse control. He is also learning to walk nicely on leash and he rides well in the car. He is housetrained and crate trained. High prey drive.
He will wait at the door and work for his breakfast and dinner. He loves belly rubs from those in his inner circle and canbe a love bug. Although he started out not understanding what toys are, he is now loving to play ball. He adores the snow and is very puppy-like every time he sees the white stuff.
As is common in the breed, he is cautious of new people but is able to warm up with time when properly introduced.
Tye was found as a stray after having been dumped in the mountains of Pennsylvania. The neighborhood got together to have him trapped after he had been running loose for at least 9 weeks. It appears that he did not have a lot of socialization. Although not what you woudl call a social butterfly, he has learned appropriate behavior when in new environments.
He has prey drive so will not be placed in a home with cats or small animals.
He has done well with the foster's dogs.
He is a nice boy with enormous potential.
