Uri is a young male who was adopted from and returned to an animal shelter for having typical, young Malinois energy. ABMR is now hard at work fostering and getting him ready for his forever home.
He will need a home that will keep him active, engaged mentally and physically, and continue obedience work. Uri is a mouthy little Maligator, but this is to be expected. He has great manners when being walked on a leash and prong collar, crates well, is housebroken, and knows basic obedience: sit, down, wait, kennel, leave it, and drop it. He loves walks with his foster humans and loves to play ball. Uri would play ball all day every day if you'd allow it, but of course he will need some rest time and an off switch when it is time to relax. He is quite the cuddler and adores car rides. He is not overly food motivated, but he will work for his ball. He is good with all sized dogs and cats, but like all Malinois, he will need supervision when with his tiny friends. He expects his human(s) to supervise and guide him, so doesn't accidentally harm his playmates with his young Malinois exuberance. While he does well with small mammals, chickens are a hard no.
Uri's foster reports that he is happy all the time, and he will need an adoptive home that can match his happy, lively energy to keep his body and mind engaged!
