Meet Wendy!

This adorable Dachshund mix, born around November 8, 2024, weighs in at just 8.1 pounds—tiny in size but big in heart! Wendy came into rescue with her sister Cindy Lou after their previous owner had to move and couldn't take them along. They were left in the care of a compassionate Petsmart employee who reached out for help, and now Wendy is looking for a fresh start in a loving forever home.

Wendy is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who thrives on affection and companionship. She’s still learning to explore the world on her own and would love a home where she can blossom with patience, love, and maybe even another doggy friend like her sister. She enjoys being around people and is looking forward to a life filled with cuddles, playtime, and stability.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
