Willie is a happy, playful, and loving young pup with a heart as big as his future! He's a gentle soul who plays beautifully with his 110 pound German shepherd foster sibling and knows how to respect the boundaries of older dogs. While he hasnât had much exposure to small children or cats, heâs been nothing but friendly and affectionate with everyone heâs met so far. Crate trained and potty trained (thanks to 24/7 doggy door access), Willie is thriving in a calm, structured home environment. He starts his day with a good breakfast and a little backyard fun zoomies included then settles into a routine that includes playtime, snuggles, and evening wind downs in his crate. Willieâs favorite activities include tug-of-war, fetch races, and cuddle sessions. He eats from a slow feeder, shares with other dogs like a gentleman, and shows zero signs of food aggression even when you reach into his bowl mid-meal. Though car rides arenât his favorite just yet, Willie is an ideal transport candidate: he handles well, is calm in new environments, and has no crate anxiety. Willie would thrive in a home with other playful dogs and a calm atmosphere. If youâre looking for a loyal, affectionate companion whoâs as happy chasing a ball as he is curled up next to you on the couch, Willie might just be your perfect match.
