Meet Zeus – The Fluff King with Eyeliner for Days and a Heart of Gold!
Once a forgotten soul on the side of a busy Texas road, Zeus is now ready to be the center of someone's world. This stunning one-year-old Great Pyrenees mix—nicknamed The Fluff King for obvious reasons—has turned his rough start into a story of resilience and love.
Found abandoned in a known dumping area in Cleveland, TX, Zeus waited patiently as car after car passed him by. But when one kind stranger stopped, he didn’t hesitate—he leapt into the car like he knew this was the beginning of something better. And it was.
Now thriving in his foster home, Zeus is blossoming into the joyful, affectionate, and slightly goofy boy he was always meant to be. Weighing in at 68 pounds, he’s a perfect blend of playful pup and gentle guardian. He adores other dogs, plays wonderfully with his foster siblings (both two-legged and four!), and has yet to meet a dog he doesn’t want to befriend.
True to his Great Pyrenees roots, Zeus takes his "job" of guarding the yard—especially from suspicious cows—very seriously, but he’s just as passionate about belly rubs, cuddles, and flopping down for a nap in the coziest spot he can find. He’s crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash. While he’s still mastering his excitement (he sometimes forgets he's not lapdog-sized), he’s smart, eager to learn, and incredibly loyal.
Zeus would do best in a home that understands the Pyr personality—independent, protective, and oh-so-devoted. He’ll thrive in a home with room to roam, older children or dog-savvy younger ones, and people who are ready to make him part of the family, inside and out.
Zeus is fully vetted, neutered, and has completed heartworm treatment. All that’s missing is a forever home where he can be cherished and snuggled furever
