Ziggy is obedient and eager to please. He is most likely fully grown and is blossoming beautifully in his foster home. He is great
on leash and LOVES to play with other friendly, active dogs.
Ziggy's build is more compact than a typical Labrador Retriever, and he is lighter on his feet. He is easy to brush and does not shed as profusely as many Labs.
Ziggy is a quick learner, full of fun, and has the sweetest disposition.
Although he is inclined to jump up, he is learning to keep four paws on the floor. Any roughhousing from Ziggy is from pure joy, he is a kind-hearted dog who is simply happy and enthused.
Ziggy thrives on attention and is food-motivated. He sometimes "talks" when he is very excited but is not an incessant barker.
Ziggy absolutely absolutely loves his foster sisters, who are
hearty playmates.
Ziggy
MUST HAVE an attached, private yard. He is thriving with his active foster sisters, so a home with a friendly, playful dog who weighs at least 45 lbs will help him keep happy and fit. Ziggy runs fast and sometimes stands upright like a bear. He enjoys chasing toys and while we initially said "no small dogs" he is proving to be pretty bomb-proof around a variety of dogs
! Non-reactive and lovely manners.
Ziggy
will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements.

Pour toute adoption, nous demandons des justificatifs afin de compléter le dossier de l’adoptant : une pièce d’identité, un justificatif de domicile original de moins de 3 mois, et le certificat d’engagement et de connaissance des besoins spécifiques de l’espèce complété et signé 7 jours avant l’acquisition de l’animal.
Nous demandons également une participation financière, couvrant les frais vétérinaires dont l’animal a bénéficié lors de sa prise en charge (stérilisation, identification, vaccination, etc..). Si l’animal n’est pas encore stérilisé lors de l’adoption, un chèque de caution de 300€ est demandé.
