The cuddliest of couch companions, 1-year-old Zoey couldn’t be sweeter or cuter! At a tiny 10 pounds, she fits perfectly inside her foster mom’s purse, making her the ideal travel dog, easily taken here, there and everywhere. Thriving on her fosters’ attention, Zoey LOVES snuggling with them, resting her head on them, rolling over for belly rubs, burrowing under the covers in typical chi fashion, and doing an adorable ranger crawl. She also loves playing with toys, chewing bones, especially Benebones, and going for walks, walking wonderfully on leash. Engaging eagerly with dogs of all sizes, she overcomes her initial shyness around larger ones and warms up to them in no time. Motivated by love and food, Zoey currently knows “down,” “no” and “off,” and is crate trained and almost fully house-trained. Now all this snuggly sweetheart needs to thrive is an especially affectionate home with adoring adopters who will complete her training, including her commands, and keep her heartbeat close fur-ever.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following:
